MOVE THE PIG – This method helps you to control your pig or herd. It is used to get your pig from one area to another. Walk up behind your pig and nudge no words. If pig does not move nudge again with a bit of pressure till pig moves. Do this several times a day. If pig is known to be aggressive you can use a sorting board to protect legs while you MTP.

Moving several pigs at a time that are scared can be done with MTP by corralling using netting, fencing, large sorting boards to push them into proper area.

Note: Some pigs get aggressive and hold a grudge using this method. Working with any pig on gaining their trust with floor time, talking softly, treats will help gain top hog position within your home.

SHUN THE PIG is a technique used when teaching your pig. Place pig in an area by him/herself where he can see you but ignore (do not look at him, talk to him or acknowledge him for 15 minutes) then try the same lesson again, if happens again repeat.
